Goodbye, Worry — Hello, New Week
A gentle invitation to toss your fears and welcome fresh energy
Hi, friends — come on in.
Pour yourself a cup of tea (or maybe something a little stronger — no judgment here). Let’s settle in together, take a deep breath, and wrap up this week with a little bit of soul-housekeeping.
✨This week felt… crunchy.
Not bad, exactly, but like there was a lot of background static in the air — half-finished conversations, worries that insisted on replaying in my head at 2 a.m., lists that seemed to grow instead of shrink.
And then, on Friday night, I remembered a little ritual I hadn’t done in months. I grabbed a scrap of paper, scribbled down the one worry that was really taking up too much space in my brain, and then — with a surprisingly dramatic flourish — ripped it into pieces and tossed it in the compost bin.
It took less than a minute. And you know what? I felt lighter.
Sometimes we think we have to solve everything in order to get relief. But there’s real power in symbolically letting something go, even if just for tonight. It’s a way of telling yourself: I am not carrying this worry to bed with me.
🪞 I’ve noticed a lot of conversations lately -
in emails, in the comments, in my DMs — about overwhelm. People are tired of being tired. We are juggling too much, holding too many plates, and wondering why our shoulders are tight and our stomachs hurt.
So maybe tonight, we all try this together:
Write one nagging thought on a slip of paper.
Rip it up.
Throw it away, burn it (safely!), or feed it to the compost.
Then sit back, breathe, and feel that little pocket of space open up inside you.
🌱 You do not have to carry it all.
You are allowed to set something down — even if only symbolically — and trust that the world won’t fall apart without you micromanaging it.
This week, I hope you give yourself permission to create space: in your home, in your schedule, in your mind. Not because you “earned it” but because you are worthy of rest, just as you are.
